Simulation of a gas-solid reaction system foraparticle under non-isothermal conditions / B. Peters
Titre : Simulation of a gas-solid reaction system foraparticle under non-isothermal conditions Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : B. Peters, Auteur Importance : p 51-58 Langues : Français (fre) Catégories : MATHEMATIQUE-PHYSIQUE-CHIMIE Mots-clés : SYSTEME DE REACTION GAS-SOLIDE PARTICULE NON ISOTHERMAL Résumé : The objective of this paper is to present a numerical simulation method for the gasification of particulate material. The method operates on the one-dimensional , transient differential equation for spherical particles with heat and mass transfer at the particle surface. Thus, this method covers a large range of combustion modes, exceeding the the validity of the shrinking and reacting core models. Furthermore, an additionnal novelty of the approach is to include conservation laws for morphological parameters such as inner surface and porosity.
