In order to treat Inverse Heat Conduction Problems (IHCP), such as the identification of thermal stimulations from measured temperatures, the use of this type of model is very difficult . Here, we propose an original way for IHCP, by using a Reduced Model (RM) which retains in a simple and stable way, the relations between the thermal inputs and outputs that are observed. This RM, built with dominant eigenmodes, acts as a filter in high frequencies and leads to a precise and well-conditioned algorithm when future time steps are added.
