The mathematical model of the process entails the solution of a set of mutually coupled conservation equations for the gas phase and the for particles, as well as a number of auxiliary relations which describe various phenomena and interactions encountered in the process. The paper presents plots of profiles of species concentrations and mixture velocity and temperatures at various locations along the reactor.
