Generation and application of closed-form solutions for 1D transient heat conduction problems in multi-layered bodies / W. Heidemann
Titre : Generation and application of closed-form solutions for 1D transient heat conduction problems in multi-layered bodies Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : W. Heidemann, Auteur ; E. Hahne, Auteur Importance : p 143-150 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : MATHEMATIQUE-PHYSIQUE-CHIMIE Mots-clés : CONDUCTEUR DE CHALEUR Résumé : A computer-based solution algorithm for the calculation of temperature field equations is suggested. Therefore temperature field equations, suitable for direct practical application can be generated with minimal effort in terms of work and time. The solution procedure is applied to the computation of approximate closed-form solutions for heat conduction problems in plane single and multi-layered walls with linear, time dependent boundary conditions. An imperfect thermal contact between body layers is considered. Thermal excitation functions both of a time discrete and time continuous form are treated. The accuracy of the solutions is investigated by comparing the results obtained for two examples with numerical solutions.
